At first when I recieved the car it pinged under load and the check engine light came on. Two days later the check engine light went out and never came back on. I don't know what else to do. I'm almost ready to take the JRSC out of my car.

If you're very sure the problem started _after_ the JRSC install I would hold the company that did the installation responsible. Be firm, don't let them mess with you! They did something wrong, the car should run just fine with the stock JRSC kit (aside from tip in detting that is). Don't take off the kit... it will bring you lots of fun when this wrinkle is ironed out!

Up date on my current problem.
I recently noticed my coolant resovor was dry. It seems when I had the jrsc installed, the mechanic forgot to top off the coolant. After I toped off the coolant two weeks ago, My goofy idle problem has not reoccured. Let's cross my fingers and hope that solved the problem. I read somewhere before that air in the cooling system can cause some strange and unusual problems. Can someone confirm that?
I believe that in Hondas and Acuras the coolant system is "self bleeding." There shouldn't be any air in the system.
Air pockets, trapped particularly around the thermostat housing area or the engine coolant temp switch (in the front of the head), can cause a wavering or "hunting" idle.
Once the air is bled or forced out, the problem should not re-occur unless the cooling system has a leak.
Thank you for the reassurance. Now I could relax a little more untill I install the map mod. By the way, how easy is it to install? I just ordered one from summit. O another thing. I just realized my fuel pump is only 215 LPH. Is that enough or should it be higher like 255 LPH?
